If you are looking for a swim up bar and loud American music, this place is not for you. If you are looking for a quiet, intimate, tasteful and elegant boutique hotel, Yaxa is your place. Lisa and staff made us feel like family. You can easily walk to everything (beach, surf shops, restaurants, coffee) but the hotel is on a quiet street. Good mix between locals and tourists. I have found my spot in Nosara!

Incredible Cuisine

The Nosara restaurant scene is well defined and offers a nice variety of Italian, Mexican, American and Costa Rican restaurants and bakeries. Fresh locally caught fish can be found in abundance and a highlight to indulge in.

Craft Cocktails

Every day at 5pm Yaxa offers an artisanal cocktail menu that offers classics like the aperol spritz, penicillin, margherita, and old fashioned among others. Marcelo Sanchez is the mixologist and local legend responsible for the memorable drinks.

Yaxa Nosara is located at the intersection of the native trees and the white sandy beaches of Playa Guiones, and because of environmental protection laws prohibiting commercial development 300 meters from the water line, we are one of the closest hotels to the beach.
